WIP
Some more work in progress shots from my new personal project:
I’m finding personal projects as important to do as commercial jobs. As Confucius says; ‘It does not matter how slow you go, so long as you do not stop.’ I’ve really been liking that saying. I’m making sure to invest time in my personal projects. Previously, my animated Bru & Boegie music video for The Kiffness launched, a couple posts back. That was a kind of big milestone for me. Its been under wraps for over a year, and had been put on the back burner many times due to other jobs taking over. Commercial work is a blessing, but I think its easy to drop personal projects for it, which I think may not be such a good thing, both for the personal project’s sake nor the commercial project’s sake.
Also, I was reminded this week to not let my demons get to me. Also, I recently got ‘Journey’ on the Playstation Network (PSN) for PS3. It rocked. Since then I’ve discovered a smorgasbord of available classic video games from PS1 and PS2 and other little gems that I may dig. I haven’t really enjoyed any major recent blockbuster games on Playstation 3 to be honest, and I haven’t touched my console in aaages, but with this online back-catalogue of awesome games like Oddworld, Final Fantasy 7, Resident Evil, Crash Team Racing, Um Jammer Lammy, Shadow of the Colossus, Ico and others like Limbo and WipeOut HD (that I’m downloading now), it looks like I may be enjoying my PS3 a bit more. Hooray I suppose.
