Hi!
My name’s Mike Scott.
I’m an indie and I make stuff I think is cool – animation, videogames, and music.
This website is a running catalogue of my work. the site used to be www.mikescottanimation.com (well, that still works) but since I also make games, I figured a more general nickname I had at University ‘MIKDOG‘, would be a better catch-all.

Often on the verge of becoming a cynical hater (of things in general) but trying my best to be a positive lover (of things in general). Life is a wonderful gift. ❤️

I’m a Christian, failing every day but trying.

My bro is Dave aka The Kiffness, a fantastic human. I’m very proud of him.

My Mom has a fantastic blog, she’s an author of 2 books. I’m also very proud of her.

My Dad is smart and doesn’t engage much with The Internet (which is apparently now 51% bots).

Work

You may know me from some of my work: Bru & Boegie games and animations, animated Goldfish music videos, my Nickelodeon show Moosebox, my Disney pilot Dogshow with Cat or the TV show Twende of which I was a co-creator. Back in the day I also co-created the animated show Jozi Zoo on South Africa’s eTV, and animated the intro to the daily pre-school eTV show Cool Catz. Huzzah.

Socials

I nuked pretty much all my long-running social media accounts some time ago (they are very addictive and I don’t want to ‘build my castle in some billionaire’s kingdom’, but I’ve kept my YouTube channel and continue to post new stuff there. My wife now runs my other social medias that I don’t have access to. I do check the Discord though.

I also have a Mailing List that you can join at the bottom of the page. I still haven’t sent out a single newsletter. Maybe on day.
