The Sweatbox

So, I saw this video got posted on cartoonbrew.com recently. Its a 2000 documentary about Disney’s making of ‘Kingdom of the Sun’ that later got squished into ‘The Emperor’s New Groove’. I feel for these guys that have their work squashed and then told to redo it. Being on the other side of the fence, though, I also know what its like to ask someone to fix a scene or something when I feel changes are necessary. Bah. Its a tricky thing. But, as one guy says, we hope with each new project everything’s just going to work super smoothly. Sometimes, that’s not the case, although there are cases I’ve had where I’ve managed to slip by without a lot of redos. Anyways, the film is around one and a half hours.
