Stolen Macbook Pro
This morning a window was broken and some (presumably small child) slipped between the burglar bars and swiped our Macbook Pro that had our band’s set on it. If you’re in Plettenberg Bay and see someone sporting a spiffing new Macbook Pro that looks anything similar to the included pic, perhaps the laptop seemed to have materialized from the ether, please won’t you do us a favor and call the Plett Police: 044) 501 1900. Makes me wonder whether I’ll always be involved in an endless admin list. Can’t quite seem to get through the admin pile. As I finish one thing, another thing pops up. Is anything worth doing at all? I’d like to think so. Is this all a guise to divert our attention from the inevitable end – death? Kind of dark. But, not doing the admin list lead me, at one point, to severe pain. I dunno. My family is alive and well, my health is good, so, at times like this its really quite a thing to rise above and get some perspective and not let my little demons blow things out of proportion. Still, I’m upset about it. It may be good to be Zen about some things and not give a rat’s, but this … irks me.
I heard something recently – when you get upset and someone says like ‘Don’t get so upset – there are other people who have nothing! They have a right to be upset!’ is the same as saying ‘Don’t be so happy! There’s someone else out there way happier than you, so stop being happy’.
As a side, our ‘The Kiffness’ gig on Friday (from when the pic was taken) was great. Sounded rad, played full-ecectro-kit, Shandu was jamming live bass and doing some singing, Dave hooking the trumpet and singing. Was very nice.
