Medical Chronicle Cartoon
Hey you guy, look at this cartoon I did for ‘Medical Chronicle’. The guy on the faithful steed is Mabasa. He’s like ‘yoweeyooweeyoweeyoowee’.
I’ve also managed to get an iTunes account. Got the Tenacious D album. I used to listen to it lank, but now I have it for realzies. Jack Black is one funny dude.
If I get around to it, I’d like to do a post about some apps and stuff I’ve found really useful, like Mpeg Streamclip, ProfitTrain, Audacity, Sparrow for Mac, some cool Android stuff like a Wi-Fi/network data switcher, cool app called ‘Draw Something’, and some other stuff that really impressed me. A SmudgeGuard glove for a Wacom Cintiq, maybe some games I like… AND I want to post about stuff that sucks goats balls, like Cell C, Nedbank, a really bad clothes shop in Hyde Park that really gave me angst, can’t even remember the name … I’d give reasons for the dislike too. Anyways, I think a post like this may be useful. Putting a doorstop under your macbook to keep it less hot and not totally flat on a surface … that kind of thing.
As a side, I use Telkom and MWEB for uncapped Internet. There seemed to be a lot of hate towards Telkom – I’ve had pretty good experiences though (touch wood). No issues really with Telkom’s line and such. And MWEB have been pretty good at providing uncapped data. So, I guess I can say that is good. Also, my website host, serv.co.za has done pretty well. Nearly all my sites were hacked fairly recently, but it was the front page of each site and fairly easy to replace. And they’re helpful and responsive. They do drive me nuts sometimes with limits on various web resources so I sometimes have to ask how to get more PHP memory or something, but for the number of years I’ve been with them, its been a relatively non-bumpy ride, so, I’m glad for that. My previous host, though, was a flippen’ dogshow. I can’t even remember who that was.
